Even though you can’t build a snowman, you can certainly get a Disney feels at the beautiful Disney-themed Festival of Lights this coming Friday. Let yourself go and have fun at the Instagram-worthy light installations placed along Ayala Avenue and the Ayala Triangle Gardens.
Celebrate the Christmas joy with the stunning holiday season on these new light installations. Ayala Land and Disney Philippines joined hands to make this collaboration happen, bringing the Christmas cheers in one of the busiest business districts in the Metro.
“Reimagine the Magic: A Festival of Lights” is scheduled to premiere on Ayala Triangle Gardens on November 9. This year’s display will feature an enormous Mickey Mouse-shaped structure at the center of the park.
Let the Disney magic live on starting Nov. 9 and listen to favorite Disney soundtracks like “When You Wish Upon A Star,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Let It Go.”
As always, there will be a light show which will be directed by Voltaire de Jesus, accompanied by a Disney medley arranged by Rony Fortich, Hong Kong Disneyland’s musical director.
Aside from the Disney-inspired displays, the stretch of Ayala Avenue is adorned with installations inspired by the Philippines’ most historic churches. Colorful totem poles that symbolize the 12 days of Christmas complement the light installations. Plus, trees are covered with capiz decorations, both designed by interior designer and event stylist Zenas Pineda.
