The newly opened McDonald’s NXTGEN branch in McKinley West is making news for its revamped look and features in social media. But what really is inside the newest store?

Being the tech-savvy generation, Millennials and Gen-Z are immersed and knowledgeable with the latest gadgets and trends. Everyone is enthralled by their tablets or phones, too busy working on their deadlines with their laptops, or occupied while binge-watching their favorite shows on Netflix. In this generation where we use gadgets and social media to communicate, everything is expected to keep up.

In this light, McDonald’s steps up to open their newest branch of the next generation at McKinley West in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.  McDonald’s NXTGEN elevates the dining experience using new enhancements for an experience better than ever. It’s the same McDonald’s that you know, but this time, there’s more to love.

The first of its kind in the Philippines, McDonald’s McKinley West pays homage from the first McDonald’s store in 1955, but with the modern twist.

The NXTGEN Look

One thing you’ll definitely notice in this store is the sleek and minimalist modern look you often see on offices and co-working spaces. They made sure you’re comfortably seated and you’ll have a place where you can also conduct your business with. The inviting interiors were marked by efficient lighting, cozy chairs, and business-friendly outlets and USB ports.

Self-ordering Kiosks

If you’re on-the-go and you would want to skip the long lines, or you want your orders personally customized, their self-ordering kiosks is an available option. Instead of waiting in line, you can simply pay cashless and wait for your order to come. You can use Master Card or Visa for transactions in this innovative kiosk.

Insider tip: You can use your PayMaya accounts to pay for your meals!

Cashless Transactions

You can use your cards to pay for your orders, even when you fall in line at the front counter. So if you don’t have cash, you don’t need to worry. You can pay using your Visa or Master Card upon ordering.

The McKinley West branch also has its own Play Play and McCafe; they also offer 24-hour delivery and Drive-Thru services. Other McDonald’s NXTGEN branches are also at Madison (San Juan), Kapitolyo (Pasig), Galleria (Pasig), and Pioneer Reliance (Pasig). More stores are targeted to be revamped by 2019.
