We can all agree that if you’re looking for a wide variety of local and international cuisines and crazy food ideas, you should go around Metro Manila. The country’s capital is filled with unconventional food inventions, unique restaurants, and interesting food offerings.
And by “interesting” we mean something like making a bouquet of chicken bites, fries or mac and cheese in a cone. This one-of-a-kind concept stall brings you a fork-free fun dining experience as you try to eat your favorite comfort food like an ice cream.
Crazy Cones in Maginhawa, Quezon City challenges every foodie in an extraordinary food adventure. They offer a flavorful meal in a cone, and you’ll surely feel full after an order. Best part? It’s just in StrEAT Maginhawa.
The chicken joint really gives off the millennial vibe. It’s not surprising, as the owners Alexx Esponga and Kloyd Majam are both in their early twenties. These young entrepreneurs are the minds behind the fork-free, instagrammable, chicken bouquet.
Crazy Cones ensures you get what you want, so they have basic Crazy Combinations (prepared combinations) if you want a safer option. But if you’re feeling adventurous, you can go crazy over the combinations to choose from.
We tried six flavors with different combinations, to taste them for ourselves. They have the Classic Chick, Crazy Buffalo, Insane Barbeque, Silly Maple, Wacky Parmesan, and Loopy Katsu. Each cone costs P90 (Regular) or P120 (Large) and you can opt to avail their iced tea for additional P30.
Each flavor comes with distinct tastes, especially when you make your cone crazier by getting the add-ons Mac & Cheese, Bacon, or Sausage. To top it off, you can choose between their cheese and garlic sauces.
You can go ahead and explore what you want with their DIY cones (P170) which is customizable with the add-ons.
Insider tip: Their Crazy Buffalo, Insane Barbeque, and Loopy Katsu are must-tries! Don’t forget to top them off with their tasty garlic sauce.
You won’t have to worry if you’re coming from the South. Fortunately, Crazy Cones will be coming to the South too. They told Manila Insider that they are opening a branch at Bonifacio Global City’s Mercato Centrale.
