Since the announcement of Panda Express arriving in Manila, people can’t contain their excitement.
But who can? After all, the popular American-Chinese restaurant chain in Manila will be opening in the Philippines and they’re here to share their tasty best-sellers.
After Shake Shack’s announcement of branching out in the Philippines, Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) is bringing the well-loved fast food chain in the islands. Last September 27, the American-Chinese brand announced its 50/50 joint partnership with the local fast food giant. The document can be seen on Philippine Stock Exchange Joint Ventures website. Five stores will be initially opened in Metro Manila, according to a report by ABS-CBN News.
There’s no definite date announced for its launch. yet, but we’re definitely pumped to taste their signature dishes. Here are five food items we cannot wait to see on Panda Express Manila stores:
1. Beijing Beef
This meal is considered one of the most underrated offerings at Panda Express. You can’t go wrong with the marinated beef strips sauteed with onions and fresh bell peppers. You can pair it with rice or Chow Mein to complete your hearty meal.
2. Beef Broccoli
Nothing can’t stop you to taste another variation of beef. Filipinos really love beef dishes, so this staple beef dish will surely pique the interest of customers. You can’t go wrong with the classic sweet and salty taste of beef sauteed with chunks of broccoli.
3. Teriyaki Chicken
One of Panda’s more popular items has a reserved slot on this list. The juicy, grilled chicken thighs glazed with sweet and spicy teriyaki sauce completes an ideal lunch meal. It comes with flavorful rice and some stir-fried greens on the side. It’s a go-to delicious meal for those on a diet and those who love chicken.
4. Honey Walnut Shrimp
If you love seafood and you’re open to new flavors, then you should try their Honey Walnut Shrimp. The shrimp are fried like tempura, but tossed in honey sauce mixed with glazed nuts. It’s the only seafood item in their menu but it is worth the try.
5. Orange Chicken
There’s a reason why this dish is the crowd favorite from Panda Express. We wanted to see for ourselves if the crispy boneless chicken meat combined with the secret sweet and spicy orange sauce will be the best orange chicken we can ever taste.
We can’t wait to know if we’ll ever get enough of their orange chicken. We’re pretty excited to taste the best-sellers as well.
