Good news, travelers! Traveling to Japan is now easier, thanks to relaxed entry requirements for visa applications.

If you’re looking forward to seeing the busy streets of Tokyo, learning about the history and cultural heritage of Japan, and tasting the delectable sushi, yakiniku, and ramen from the “Land of the Rising Sun,” this is for you. Starting this August, Japan eases visa applications for Filipinos traveling for business, cultural, or intellectual purposes.

With their Tourism Vision Realization Program 2018 benefits Filipino nationals aiming for a short-term stay in the country, according to the statement released by the Japanese Embassy.

In their statement, the eligibility of applicants for multiple-entry visas “will be expanded” with the visa validity period is also extended to ten years maximum from its previous validity of five years.

This relaxation of visa requirements, said the embassy, strives to improve the convenient travel for tourists, to increase repeat visitors going to Japan. The new policy also aims to strengthen people-to-people exchange between Japan and Philippines.

You may check out the detailed application process for multiple entry visa on the Japanese Embassy website.

If you’re frequently traveling to Japan, this new policy on visa application will certainly help you.
