After the crazy first day screening of the Avengers: Infinity War in cinemas, another Marvel movie Venom dropped its first official trailer. The teaser revealed the look of the alien symbiote, the trademark look of the villain.

Venom is considered one of the most powerful enemies of Spider-Man. But this should not be confused with the Marvel Cinematic Universe Timeline since this is a film made by Sony Studios. There are other Marvel characters are not in the MCU like Deadpool and X-Men.

Check out the new trailer below!

Enter Eddie Brock, the persistent journalist played by Tom Hardy who acquired a symbiote after snooping into the experiments of Life Foundation’s Dr. Carlton Drake.

Unlike what we saw in the Spider-Man 3 sequel, Brock acquired the symbiote not by accident, but because of being too curious for his own good.

Aside from this twist, viewers are expected to see a more human side of Venom than the completely monstrous villain.

Viewers could see the “Jekyll and Hyde” relationship between Brock and the symbiote. The existential dread unveiling in this villain origin story is something everyone should witness.

Venom will be shown in cinemas on October 5 this year.
