In the recent years, everything Korean had crept into the hearts of Filipinos. From Koreanovelas to charismatic actors and actress, their culture had truly established a fan base in the country. Worth noting, however, is Korean food and the way we Filipinos don’t seem to get enough of it.

Enter Kko Kko, a Korean food chain that is the “Home of Seoul Chicken”.

Level Up Cheese Experience

Mention the restaurant to anyone who’s familiar and they’d probably bring up Kko Kko’s Chicken Cheese Fondue.

It’s a dish filled with cheesy goodness served in a bowl made out of bread. Along with it are Spicy French fries, onions rings, and boneless chicken chunks which you’ll be dipping in this melted cheese heaven. Lastly, it also comes with the Yang Nyum Sauce of your choice, whether it be sweet chili, classic soy or Oh-my-garlic.

Also The Place For Chicken Lovers

While the Cheese Fondue is the star of the show, Kko Kko is also quite known for its chicken dishes. They also have boneless chicken thigh tossed in the powder of your choice (Cheesy or Fire Chili) called Chicken Popcorn.

Yang Nyum Chicken is also a must-try! If you’re craving for something crispy, this dish features a crispy chicken tossed in your chosen sauce.

Not Just The Chicken

Another dish that would probably catch your interest is their Dosirak. This one isn’t really served in a dish. Reminiscent of packed meals, the Dosirak is filled with sweet dilis, cooked kimchi, and egg served in a tin can.

What’s unique about the Dosirak? You’ll have to shake before eating. You can choose from different flavors —Galbi Jim, Dakdori Tang, Daeji Bulgogi, Beef Bulgogi and Samgyupsal BBQ.

Satiate your craving for Korean food at Kko Kko. With a different take on cheese, this restaurant is definitely the right food spot to try next!
