The Vegetarian Kitchen serves your all-time favorite meals the vegan way!
It’s 2018! Wouldn’t you want your new year’s resolution to be to eat healthier meals? It may seem easier said than done, but in this restaurant, even meat lovers would want to turn vegetarian!
The Vegetarian Kitchen transforms our all-time favorites into healthy vegan dishes. Faux meat is the star here! In case you haven’t heard the term before, it’s the use of vegetables to imitate characteristics of specific types of meat.
Take a look:
7. Vegan Crispy Southern Fried ‘Chicken’ (P220)
This is served with macaroni salad, grilled corn, and homestyle gravy. Sidings can even be replaced with brown rice.
We bet you won’t be able to tell the difference between the real chicken and this vegan chicken, too. It is that tasty and flavorful! The tenderness will be another reason for us to keep coming back.
That macaroni salad is so creamy. Since dairy products are animal by-products, be assured that it does not contain any dairy ingredient. Awesome, right?
6. The Good Tocino (P180)
The name does not lie. It is the best for your health! It is served with tofu scramble, pipino atchara, and fried brown rice. The tocino is made from soy protein. It’s chewy and sweet like our favorite tocino in the market. We can definitely eat this every day. The best part? We can actually eat this every day! This is available in packs. It costs P200 per 450 grams.
5. Vegan Bibimbap with Shredded ‘Spareribs’ (P220)

Korean food lovers, rejoice! We got another great hangout place for our Korean food cravings. We know that Koreans are health-conscious people. Most of their dishes, just like bibimbap, are already healthy because of loads of vegetables. The Vegetarian Kitchen made it even healthier with these vegan spareribs! It is seasoned just right and totally filling.
4. Vegan Spaghetti and Meatless Meatballs (P180)
One of the best spaghetti in the metro! The sauce tastes superb. Putting the ‘meatless meatballs’ on their menu looks like they’re kidding us, right? But then, they are so serious! Of course, it is completely vegan! It tastes like our favorite meatballs. We can definitely binge on these.
3. Vegan Manager’s Choice Double Lentil Cheeseburger (P250)
This is served with potato wedges. The next time we crave for burgers again, we won’t need to say sorry. There’s no doubt this is the healthiest burger around! Even the cheese is dairy-free. WTF, right? It is as meaty and addicting as any other burger. You’ll forget the patties are just pseudo-meat.
2. Vegan La Paz Vatchoy (P100)
For just P100, how can this taste so legit? Yes, this tastes and smells more legit than all those MSG-loaded La Paz Batchoy we see around the metro. Expect this as less salty than those. The noodles are cooked just right. It looks small but it is satisfying enough. Of course, the exception is whenever we are really, really hungry.
1. Vegan Dark Chocolate Cake (P130 per slice)

This is definitely the best gift for our sweet tooth! Would you believe this is eggless? It is! This vegan dark chocolate cake is quite dry. But hey, don’t be disappointed. The dark chocolate taste is a winner! We know it’s hard to resist having more than one slice. No problem. One whole 6-inch of this is just P700. The 9-inch one is also available. It costs P1, 150. Perfect for any celebration!
