Everybody loves a good breakfast! Having a heavy breakfast with rice is part of the Filipino culture and one of our favorite staple breakfast meals is Tapsilog.
I mean, who wouldn’t love Tapsilog? It’s a balance of strong flavored, marinated beef (Tapa), garlic rice (Sinangag) and a sunny-side-up egg (Itlog).
This is a breakfast meal you can enjoy even at lunch or dinner. It has the protein and carbohydrates you will need for a busy and tiring day ahead. You can indulge your Tapsilog with different condiments like catsup, soy sauce (with calamansi), or vinegar.
