Toys today aren’t just for kids so if you’re looking to jump in and start collecting, let this list serve as your guide.

There is a growing community of toy collectors and hobbyists in the country. Some former collectors have gone on to open their own businesses to retail and sell the very things they used to empty their pockets on. They now serve the new generation of collectors on their hunt to find the things they want.

This little ecosystem has made Manila a great place to start a toy collection, if you’re looking to get into it. There are now more stores than ever offering before, different brands and kinds of toys!

Here’s some of them:

5. Hobby Korner

Only recently opening a store in the Greenhills, the ‘Mecca of Toys’, Hobby Korner used to be an online shop serving a select few collectors.

They have a wide selection of sought after lines including Transformers, Star Wars, and Marvel. Their prices are also competitive, making them one of the go-to shops for toys and actions figures.

Hobby Korner is located at 3rd floor, Unit S-3158, Shoppesville, Greenhills Shopping Center, San Juan. They are open from 11AM to 9:30PM.

For information on upcoming releases and pre-orders, visit their Facebook here.

4. Big Boys Toy Store

The granddaddy of toy and collectible shops in the Philippines, Big Boys Toy Store has practically every brand or line out there.

They helped create the Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure craze and is the primary store to visit, if these are what you’re looking for.

Having opened multiple branches across the Metro, they made it convenient for collectors to visit their store or pick up their orders.

One of the branches is located at Unit S-3017, Shoppesville Arcade, Greenhills Shopping Center, San Juan. They are open from 10AM to 9PM.

Visit their Facebook for more information on their other branches, upcoming releases, their online store, and more here.

GreatToys is one of the most popular retailer and official distributor of numerous Japanese import action figures, model kits, and statues.

These include brands like Bandai Tamashii Nations, Good Smile Company, and more! Like Big Boys, they have multiple branches to serve collectors from different areas of Manila.

Collectors also love how they frequently hold sales, so best stay updated if any of their offerings interest you.
