They serve great coffee and frappes and the prices are relatively affordable. You can choose between a variety of drinks, pasta, sandwiches and finger foods in the menu.

The average cost of the beverage goes around from Php70-100. They also hold books sales every now and then. Since it’s in Batangas, the place is most of the time quiet which makes it a great sport for people to relax. If you want to visit them, they’re at 43 Barangay 9 P. Burgos St., Batangas City.

6. Under The Tree Book Cafe

It’s not literally under a tree, but this beautiful cafe has lately been the talk of the town in Baguio city. The coffee shop is owned and managed by a Korean entrepreneur.

It was originally meant to be a board game cafe, but books were added and after a few months it became a mixture of both. Aside from their games and books, they also have membership programs that give out tons of perks, monthly contests, regular reading activities and more. You can even donate a book and get a free cup of coffee!

If you just want to kick-back and relax, enjoy a couple of board games and read a few books, then this place is perfect for your lazy day.

Enjoy great Korean cuisines, pasta, coffee, smoothies, teas and more! The prices are justifiable and worth it. You can already relax and sip great coffee for only Php70, pair that up with a delicious Php120 white pasta, and I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time! 4. Antiteasis: Books and Brews

Now, this is also another Maginhawa gem. The place is oozing with Greek-like aura. The interior of the cafe is beautiful, it has a touch of modern design sprinkled with a mystical feeling. People who are a fan of voodoo, magic, and other spiritual stuff should definitely check this out! They also occasionally hold tarot activities.

If you just want to study, read a book, and relax, then I highly suggest that you check this place out. They also have shelves filled with great iconic books and forgotten ones too! Aside from that they also have board games to help you kill time. For first time comers we suggest to get their best-sellers; the banana cinnamon smoothie (Php 110), paired with their signature whole wheat cream cheese bagel (Php 110).

What are you waiting for? Hurry up and relax here with your friends. Here’s the address so you can go smooth sailing: Unit C, 154 Maginhawa Street, Sikatuna Village, Quezon City. Take note: Their operating hours are from 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

Inspired by the hit movie – pulp fiction, this hole-in-the-wall cafe in Katipunan is a must-go destination not only for the movie franchise’s fans, but also for people who are looking for some R&R with a little reading on the side.

The hangout spot is filled with books covering the fiction genre to the horror one. This is truly a place for people who love coffee and literature.

The place is very comfortable, especially in cold days. There is still minimal foot traffic in the cafe, so you better grab this opportunity and go here while it’s still quiet and hidden. While you’re at it, try their sumptuous chubby pancakes (Php 175), and horchata (Php 110), a traditional Mexican drink served with cinnamon.

Hungry? Head over here right now! Here’s the place: 141 Katipunan Avenue, White Plains, Quezon City, They’re open from 10:00 am to 12:00pm.

Their menu is jam-packed with great food and beverages, but here are our top picks: Their signature Pressadilla – a grilled flour tortilla with spicy ground meat,, mozzarella, cheddar cheese, and fresh salsa for only Php 250, and also their Spanish omelette for only Php 195.
