Carousel Creamery is an ice cream fan’s heaven, serving them every taste and flavor imaginable!
This is the perfect place to visit after a meal because there’s always room in your stomach for ice cream. And with over a hundred flavors to choose from, you’ll be more than curious to try them all.
You’ll surely get a kick of just sampling the long chillers housing all the ice cream. If you still can’t decide which to get, you can request a free taste first before placing your order.
The prices are still affordable when compared to today’s standards for ice cream. You can get a single scoop either in a cup or on a cone for P95, two scoops for P160, and three for P225.
In addition, they offer other options for you to eat your ice cream like their homemade waffle cone which costs an extra P25. You can even take their ice cream home in a handpacked pint for P350, if you love it so much!
They have all the classic flavors like Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry. But most visitors are often adventurous enough to give the more innovative ones a try. These include Wasabi and Beer and Chicharon to name a few.
Here’s quick guide to just some of the cleverly named flavors we recommend you try:
Nothing wrong with going back to the basics. Their strawberry is the right kind of sweet and creamy with generous amounts of the berry inside. This is easily the go-to choice for those less daring with tastes and flavors.
4. Cheese and Bacon
Imagine the cheese flavored ice cream we Filipinos love so much topped with bacon bits inside. The flavor is incredibly tasty, not too sweet and not too salty.
3. NY Cheesecake
This flavor tastes as close to its cake counterpart as it could possibly get. It’s astonishing how they bring the creamy consistency of the cake to the ice cream.
2. Dark Side Chocolate
With a little nod to Star Wars, Dark Side Chocolate is the flavor chocolate lovers would want to try first. It strikes the perfect balance of bitter and sweet which gives it its dark and rich chocolatey taste.
1. Beer and Chicharon
Beer and Chicharon rounds out this list and is probably the most unusually unique ice cream flavor someone could ever possibly dream of.
It tastes like creamy beer with bits of chicharon inside, complementing the sweet to the salty. We recommend you not walk out the doors of Carousel Creamery without having at least a taste of this weird yet fascinating flavor.
Of course, we are barely scratching the surface when it comes to naming all of the flavors you could possibly enjoy. Furthermore, they continue to add more and more flavors so there’s definitely no shortage of handcrafted artisan ice cream to try.
