Every food park has its own concept to make themselves different. Chiebog Food Park takes you back to the 90s with their retro arcade theme!

When a lot of food parks are popping in areas around Metro Manila and nearby provinces, every food park needs to keep up. Delicious food and great live jams will not suffice. They have to step up their games and have an impact through their own concepts.

Fairview, Quezon City might be the King of Food Parks in Northern Metro Manila because food parks are everywhere in the vicinity.

What piqued my interest is this new food park around Lagro, Quezon City. Chiebog Food Park is the first ever retro arcade-themed food park in Northern Manila. The neon lights also reminded me of the show Riverdale.

Chiebog Food Park is established by six friends who shared the love for food and games. The co-owners grew up on arcades and video games which inspired them to make a place with great food that caters to both kids and the kids at heart.

Here are the reasons why you should check them out now:

Awesome interior and exterior design

One of the things I like about their food park is the exterior. They have an interesting design outside and it is totally in sync with their concept. It reminded me of Minecraft and pixelated games when I was young.

Co-owner Magnus Gemora shared that they wanted to present the vibe of the food park the moment you see the place, so they really made sure the design is on point. He told me there were other plans before they settled with this design. Their efforts are not wasted with this result.

Plus, it’s really insta-worthy too, especially when it’s dark outside.

Smorgasbord of food choices, live jams and fun activities

Of course, food parks won’t live up to their names without having good food! They have a lot to choose from since they have 14 food and beverage concessionaires. Stores are really diverse, ranging from Filipino food to East Asian, Caribbean, Mexican, American and even exotic food.

Members of the family can choose their meals that satisfy their cravings!

They also have live jams every night. The perfect harmony of the bands gives you a feel-good atmosphere.  There’s no lonely night at this food park!

They also have a beer pong station at the second level of the place (Insider tip: Order a bucket of any liquor and you can enjoy their beer pong station) and they have plans of having KTV rooms or a sports bar in the long run.

Arcade Station

Aside from offering great food and live jams, they also offer arcade games! Yes, you read it right. ARCADE GAMES. The old-school games we all loved are back in this food park.

Well, being a person born in the 90s, I am pretty excited to see arcades on a food park.  Because usually, you only see arcades on malls and game zones.

Even with new games which has greater graphics and game interface, everyone still loves to go back to the basics where it all started. They have so much old-school games to choose from like Marvel vs. Capcom, Tekken, Street Fighter 3 and many others that kids and kids at heart will surely love!

Chiebog Food Park might be one of the newest food parks in the area but it’s definitely a must-visit place you should go to today!

You can drop by their turf at Bristol St. LagroArko, Brgy. Greater Lagro, Quezon City. They are open daily from 5 pm – 12 mn
