Just a little fact about this restaurant. Their name, “the lost bread” literally translates to “pain de perdu” – the stale bread that old folks use to make french toast.

But, don’t worry the taste of their food is not even close to the word stale.

One of their best sellers is their Grilled cheese french toast (P219), made with huge thick slice of fresh french bread covered with blow torched mozzarella and cheddar cheese, seasoned with spices and served together with their signature tomato soup.

3. Common Folk

Now this one is for the hipsters out there that loves to eat cheese and drink coffee together! Common folk is the restaurant for people who just want to relax and enjoy light meals.

Apart from their cozy ambiance, enjoy their comforts food straight from the oven! One of their all time favorites is the say cheese! (P185) Made with 100% fresh farmer’s bread filled with oozing mozzarella cheese, paired with seasoned chips and their special sauce.

They boast their best seller – The Classic Melt (P265) Made with fresh, thick special sour dough bread covered with their home-made grilled mozzarella, cheddar and butter mixture. Topped with sweet honey drizzle and pure sweet tomato paste.

Make sure to put this on your to-go list and visit them at 3rd F Uptown Place Mall, 9th Ave., BGC!


6. The Bowery NYC Comfort Food

Now, how about a something a little more foreign? The bowery focuses on meat on cheese. Meaning you won’t only enjoy their signatures sauces and scrumptious grilled cheese, you will also feast on their pure and tender meat under that thick coat of cheese.

Partnered with their famous honey mustard sauce and with chips on the side, you will surely finish this and come begging for more! You can also try their other best seller – Grilled mac and cheese! (P170)
